IGP EDUCATION

Upon successful completion of the General Comprehensive Examination you will be provided with a a Study Guide for your Specialty Course.  Shortly thereafter, you will be emailed an invitation to take the specialty examination.
Although all members are encouraged to take all courses, for purposes of an IGP designation (MIGP, FIGP), the individual must complete a specialty course in the individual’s relevant specialty, as follows.  These examples are not exhaustive, however, represent IGP's intent that at a minimum, an architect will take IGP's specialty course in architecture, an attorney will take IGP's specialty course in environmental law, and so on for each Member specialty.  One of IGP's administrative tasks is to match the Applicant's resume/CV with stated area(s) of expertise and the minimum required specialty course.
